Robert L. Brogden Jr. NADA Minority Director
West Region

"It has been an honor to serve as your NADA Minority Director for the West Region — and I am asking for your continued trust and support as I seek reelection."

My commitment to you goes beyond the current term. Representing minority dealers is not just a title — it is a responsibility I carry in every committee room, every board meeting, and every decision that shapes the future of our industry.

I remain deeply committed not only to representing you effectively today, but to strengthening minority participation and leadership within NADA for the future. Too often, talented minority dealers are discouraged from seeking leadership roles because the structure, processes, and culture of a large organization like NADA can seem opaque or intimidating from the outside.

I want to break down those barriers — and I need your vote to keep doing that work.

Goals for My Next Term

With a stronger seat at the table, I plan to pursue positions that give minority dealers even more influence over the resources, policy, and relationships that shape our industry.

NADA PAC Board of Trustees

Gaining a voice in how political resources are directed to protect and advance the interests of all dealers, including minority-owned dealerships.

Industry Relations Committee

Strengthening relationships between NADA and manufacturers, ensuring minority dealers are heard on franchise terms, inventory policies, and OEM pressures.

Finance Committee

Bringing transparency and minority dealer perspective to how NADA's resources are allocated, and ensuring our priorities are reflected in the budget.

The Next Generation Minority Leaders Initiative

One of my most important goals is building a pipeline of future minority leaders within NADA. I want to establish a team of potential future candidates — not only for this seat, but for additional NADA Director positions across the board. Those who participate would have the opportunity to:

  • 1
Observe firsthand how NADA committees and the Board function, gaining insider knowledge that is rarely accessible from the outside.
  • 2
Understand the process — how issues affecting minority dealers are raised, debated, and ultimately resolved at the highest level.
  • 3
Develop advocacy skills and gain insight into how to be an effective voice for your fellow dealers on the issues that matter most.
  • 4
Build real relationships with NADA leadership and staff that will support you if and when you choose to step into a leadership role.

I view this as a personal investment in developing the next generation of minority leaders within NADA — ensuring that our voices are consistently heard at the highest levels of our industry, not just today, but for decades to come.
