Starting from humble beginnings as a salesman and working his way up to owning multiple franchises, Mr. Brogden has been recognized by his peers nationally and is currently serving as an at-large member of the National Automotive Dealers Association’s board of directors, representing minority dealers from the West Region, (Term: April 2021-February 2024).

In 2018, General Motors recognized Robert Brogden's Olathe Buick GMC as a Buick Dealer of the Year. This honor is only given to top performing Buick dealers across the country for exceptional performance in sales, service and customer satisfaction. In 2019 the dealership was recognized nationally as the GMC Dealer of the Year and have also received the GM Mark of Excellence award in multiple years.
