Teeing Up Success for Kansas City Youth

Founded by former K-State star and NFL wide receiver Kevin Lockett, the Lockett-Up Foundation is dedicated to empowering at-risk and disadvantaged youth. Over the past 25 years, the annual tournament has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund educational development, leadership growth, and critical reading resources.

In recent years, funds raised from the tournament have gone directly toward upgrading computer reading software and literacy technology for students at Genesis Promise Academy in Kansas City. By helping kids build strong reading foundations, the foundation is paving the way for brighter academic and career futures.
